Michael Whiteley

Not having much time to paint during his career as an Engineer/Pilot in the Royal Air Force or since, as an International Marketing Consultant, he became an avid collector of mainly impressionist Oil paintings by artists such as Professor Gabriel Deschamps (Gold medallist of the salon des Artists Francaise) and the British painter Glenn. Now in virtual retirement Michael has at last taken up painting using the new Artisan water mixable oils. His paintings are inspired by the light in Provence and have an impressionist influence. One of his pictures of St. Tropez is now hanging in Paris.
