Whiteley
If you see this page your machine is not accepting frames
and you are missing most of it.
Michael Whiteley was born 15 May 1935.
He has
maintained a keen interest in Art since studying Painting, History of Art and
Calligraphy at Midhurst Grammar School.

Not having much time to paint during his carreer as an
Engineer/Pilot in the Royal Air Force or since, as an International Marketing
Consultant, he became an avid collector of mainly impressionist Oil paintings
by artists such as Professor Gabriel Deschamps (Gold medallist of the salon des
Artists Francaise) and the British painter Glenn. Now in virtual retirement
Michael has at last taken up painting using the new Artisan water mixable oils.
His paintings are inspired by the light in Provence and have an impressionist
influence. One of his pictures of St. Tropez is now hanging in Paris.
