What do we do?
Meetings The society meets all year round on Friday evenings from 7.30pm until 9.30pm (with a few exceptions) in the Adult Education Centre, France Hill Drive. Members get together to watch demonstrations, learn new techniques, follow short courses and share their love of art with like minded people. This page, below, gives details of the programme of events designed to encourage members to pursue their interests and improve their skills
. Exhibitions An Annual Exhibition is held in Camberley. Members are invited to exhibit drawings, paintings, sculptures and pottery. All these items may be for sale. A submission fee, hanging fee and 20% commission are charged. On the first day of opening there is an evening reception for invited guests and members. Members are normally invited to submit one of their pictures for a prize for work on a special theme. There are occasionally additional smaller exhibitions. Examples of members work may be seen in the Gallery and several other parts of the site. See Site Map Outdoor Painting Days & Workshops As well as the regular Friday meetings there are also occasional Saturday workshops with professional artists. Outdoor sketching and painting days are offered in the summer.
