What's New ? . . Recent changes
FCSA is an active group of enthusiastic artists who meet regularly to share their enjoyment of art. The society was originally formed in 1961 by a small group of artists and art lovers, with advice from the late Professor Carel Weight CH, CBE, RA. This means that 2011 will be the FCSA’s golden anniversary/half century/50th anniversary. Watch this space!

The Society has up to 200 members drawn from all walks of life and the areas of North West Surrey, North East Hampshire and South East Berkshire. There is usually a short waiting list for membership.

Until his death on 12 June 2005 the Society's President was Mr James Winterbottom ex-Head of Fine Art at West Surrey College of Art and Design. Members' thoughts

We were then delighted to be able to welcome Graham Scandrett, artist and tutor and erstwhile principal of France Hill Drive Adult Education Centre, as our new President.

As well as being a reference source about the activities of the FCSA, this site should let people interested in amateur art fill some spare minutes or hours.
