Annual Exhibition 2012 Our exhibition year should have started at the Surrey Heath Show 2012, 5 May 2012 at Frimley Lodge Park but sadly, it was cancelled because the site was waterlogged. The FCSA 2012 Annual Exhibition will be in High Cross Church, Knoll Road, Camberley, starting with a ticket-only evening reception on Thursday 12th July 2012. Tickets will be available FREE after 15 June 2012 from any of the Society Committee Members, Brackendale Arts and High Cross Church. The exhibition will be open to the public from 9:30 to 5:00, Friday 13th and Saturday 14th July. This will be another excellent opportunity for people to find out about the benefits of membership, to see what FCSA members do and to enjoy viewing and, we hope, buying original works of art at reasonable prices. Application forms for members wishing to exhibit are distributed to all with the June Newsletter. These include details of hanging fees and sales-commission charges.

Competitions (other photos below)
Prizes are sponsored to encourage particular types of work or in memory of past members. Members are sometimes given the opportunity to compete by submitting paintings with a particular theme. For 2012 the optional competition theme will be Celebration. This allows for various interpretations, in landscape, portraiture, still life or abstract work, not necessarily directly linked to the Jubilee.
