Sam and Belinda have been painting since the early 1990's.

Originally, most of their work was in watercolour, with some pastel, acrylic and gouache.

Over the last few years, however, Belinda has concentrated on acrylic and Sam on heat-set oils, several examples of which are here. He has also done some interesting small paintings in encaustic (hot wax) and many sketches, mostly in sepia ink. A more up-to-date but slightly smaller selection of Sam's paintings is in his gallery here.

The originals of most of our paintings are for sale. It's not really for the money, but because everyone is so very kind and polite when they see your work there is nothing quite as convincing as a few crispy notes to prove that they really mean it (it also reduces the number of paintings cluttering the house).

Because of variations between cameras and computers you cannot be sure that the colours you see are an accurate reproduction of the original.
