| The evening went very well, thanks to the team of dedicated ladies
who had whipped us all into helping and participating. I hesitate to name names
for fear of leaving someone out. Jenny Colquhoun, our Treasurer, gave us a vivacious welcome, inveigled her sister to help her sell raffle tickets and announced the winners with perfect clarity. The raffle raised £61.00 for Disability Challengers - who are like a play group for children with various disabilties (physical and mental). Children love to paint. They do have a web site with a really sweet gallery of pictures that the children have done. |
